Finding badly listed items on ebay is a good way to make money online. First you can find items using a misspell search engine such as www.bargainchecker.com or www.bestwebauctions.net. Look for items with a low weight and high value. Designer names are a good start: berghaus, timberland, diesel, north face. Anything else you can think of that might be difficult to spell:motorcycle, gore-tex, dainese, antique. There are thousands of possibilities for this. Make sure you have a good low price on the item by doing a completed listing check in the advanced search area. Use the correct spelling obviously or you won't find anything!!Use www.auctionsniper to get the best price. It's easy to join and you will save far more than you spend. Besides you get the first three snipes for free.
Auction sniper puts your maximum bid in just before the very end of the auction so you don't hike the price up in a bidding war. It's a great tool.
Another way to find bargains on ebay is by looking for spelling omissions which you can't find on the misspell tool.
First decide on a category. Pick something you know about. For an example I will pick mens jeans. Narrow the search down by clicking in the boxes on the left hand side. In most cases you can choose a label or brand name of some kind. In jeans I can choose Diesel. If you're looking at computer consoles you can choose Playstation, Xbox etc. Click the brand you want to look through and you should find a list of a few hundred items. I always click the UK only box since I don't want to pay postage costs from abroad. This will narrow your search further. You can also stipulate a price range by clicking on the advanced search box on the right and checking the box for price range.
Now is the clever bit. So you should now have a list of branded items within a certain category, from the UK and within a price range. I always leave the lower price range blank since we're looking for bargains here!!
Now to omit the well listed items simply delete the brand title from the search box above the list of items. (Not the very top search box as this will start a new search.)To do this just type in -diesel or whatever your brand name is. So if you are looking at playstations just type -playstation This will then give you the items listed in that category but without the best performing keyword and hence ,(if the item is listed at a low enough price), you can find a item that few people will bid on simply because they don't see it.
